The hotel was the best base for enjoying a good area, close enough to other restaurants, Texas and activities occurring in Bastop. The location was good, at a medium distance from Calvary Baptist. Btw, we relaxed by the lake, it was 5 mins walk from the venue.

The location couldn't be more good and absolutely perfect to the State Park. Actually the room was spotless with microwave, music plus mini fridge.

The hotel had a quiet atmosphere and was close to the state park, which was nice for relaxation. There were cleanliness issues with cobwebs and bugs, and the amenities like the coffee pot could use more attention. It served its purpose but needs improvement.

I loved how quiet and comfortable my room felt! The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially after a hot day. Plus, the outdoor swimming pool was a good spot to unwind and cool off!

Had a blast with my friends! We enjoyed the outdoor pool and played a round of golf at Lost Pines Golf Club. The hiking trails were perfect for some adventure. The staff was friendly and accommodating, really helping us feel at home!

Unfortunately, the level of cleanliness left much to be desired. Upon entry, I noticed cobwebs and hair clinging to the bathroom walls. There were also issues with pests, as crickets made a home in the bathroom and I encountered roaches in the room. The heater failed to operate adequately, and icy temperatures outside only added to the discomfort. The ice machine was broken, leading to a long wait for the front office to address this. The breakfast selection was another missed opportunity, lacking in protein options and variety.

The room was notably comfortable, and it was a relief to have a well-functioning air conditioner during a heatwave. The cleanliness left some room for improvement, especially as I own a cleaning business and observed areas needing attention. The staff were friendly and accommodating, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. I appreciated the convenience of being close to various dining options.

This place suits me perfectly, offering free wi-fi, clean rooms, and 24-hour reception. On my first stay, the staff recommended local delivery that I enjoyed. I'll definitely return for a city break!
